Life Update
It feels so good to be back to sending out these newsletters and working on my website again! The last time I was consistently sending these out was during the pandemic and life has changed just a little bit. JK, life has changed a LOT a bit. I honestly feel like an entirely different person than who I was a couple of years ago. And not in a bad way. Each and every one of us had our struggles during COVID and post-COVID, so I am sure most of you feel the same way. Everytime the Lord puts me through adversity/chaos, the ”during” the adversity/chaos part is so hard because it is sometimes impossible to see past it. You feel stuck in a bubble, trying so hard to see what the future looks like without the challenges you are currently facing at that time. But then when I get to the “after” part, I ALWAYS come out a better, more refined person.
So if you feel like you’ve been through some shit these past couple of years… I am here to tell you that you are not alone.
Anyways, here’s some life updates that you might have missed if you stopped looking at social media (which, I don’t blame you hehe)….
Yes you heard that right. The name that we all fell in love with (Balance Athletica) is no longer. At the end of the day, this was a decision Steve, Chloe, and I made and it’s been the perfect opportunity to level up the brand in every way. It has been really hard work and some days we want to crawl into a hole for the next few years (lol) but we know that this hard work will pay off (you will see come Jan 2023). Thank goodness we have the most loyal and loving customers in the world to support us during a transition that was pretty tough on us… BUT!! It has all turned out for the better and we are really happy with the new refresh of the brand… VITALITY <3
Yo… I’M FREAKING PREGNANT!!!!
Can you believe it? 17 weeks and we are having a BOY!! My entire life I never felt this absolute need to have children… until this past Spring 2022. One day, I just felt ready. I will be talking much more about my pregnancy in these newsletters and I can’t wait to share more! Steve and I are extremely excited. He is due March 31!
We said GOODBYE TO DENVER!
Back story: we have been building a house outside of the city since July 2020. It took 9 months to make my vision come to life architecturally, and then they broke ground in June 2021. We were in a rental for the past year, but our lease is currently up, so we left the city couple of weeks ago and moved in with my parents (who live near our new build). The house will be done soon and I am pumped to share some of the details like decorating, colors, etc.
