New Year’s Resolutions For 2024 ✨

January is such a magical month. It brings excitement, positive energy, and so much possibility. It’s a chance to start fresh and head into a new year with strong intentions and purpose. A chance to become an even better you and create a better life. This can mean something different for everyone. I have people in my life where this year, that means they would like to start their own TikTok page and other people in my life that would like to slow down and live more in the present moment. 2020 did a number on all of our mental health that I truly feel like we are just now potentially feeling normal again. That’s why with 2024, it’s the perfect opportunity to truly start fresh and go after the type of life you want.

With alllll the crazy busyness of our schedules that we all have on a daily basis, I thought I would make it as simple as possible for you to set your year up with intention and purpose. The two easiest ways to just take 10 minutes of your day right now are:

  1. Think of a word that’s “your word” for the year. And live by it each day. Every decision you make should align with that word and over time, you’ll start to see your life shift in the direction you want it to go for the year.

  2. You know that thing you just can’t stop thinking about? The one that keeps you up at night wondering if you should ever do it? This is the year. There is no perfect time to start, and if you set the intention for the year that this is the year you start it and you go for it, you have to make a promise to yourself. You can’t quit even when it gets hard because the outcome will be worth it! You have to promise yourself that on Jan 1, you start the thing you’ve been wanting to do for years. And if you “fail” it’s not really failing… it’s a redirection in your path.

So that’s it! Simple, clean, achievable. But also can change your life forever.

For me personally, last year I set out to slow down. I kept it in my mind ever single day and over time, I started to live more in the present moment. I laughed and cried and felt deeper than I have in a long time. So it goes to show how impactful setting purpose for your year can be! This year, my goal is to take things off my plate that no longer serve me, and add new ones that continue to light me up in life. I also want to have more time to cook and feed my family nourishing meals - as simple as that sounds.

I hope 2024 is your best year yet. I am so grateful for you being along this journey with me, I wouldn’t be where I am without you all! Have the best new years!

XOXO, TAY
