We Moved into our forever home!!
Hello beautiful people!! As many of you already know, Steve and I have been in the process of building our dream home for the past 2.5 years (below is a picture from when we first started building!!!). It has been an insane process, but after months and months of anticipation we have finally moved and are settling in!! Moving day was a mix of emotions - excitement, stress, chaos, but mostly pure happiness - and we are feeling so grateful to have gotten moved in before baby boy got here. It was a tight timeline but we did it - we moved in just 10 days before his arrival!! This will be our forever home, so it feels surreal knowing this is the place we will settle down, grow our family and raise our kids. I know it will be a place that holds a lot of special memories. We both couldn’t be more excited!!
It took about two FULL days to get fully unpacked and organized. If you follow me on socials you know that our storage unit got broken into about 6 months ago, so it was interesting to unpack everything and see what all actually got stolen. Unfortunately, they ended up stealing a TON more than I thought. ALL kitchen items, valuables, odds and ends that Steve an I collected over the years, as well as almost all of my pre-pregnancy clothes that I had packed away. But we are staying positive and moving forward!!
Something I love so much about the location of our new house is how close we are to nature and all of the wildlife that we see in the area (literally in our backyard)! There’s always a ton of elk and deer in the area and they never cease to amaze me. There are also a few bears in the area and while we were building, one of them always lurked around the property (I even found his poop on our deck one day lol). Needless to say, our fenced in dog run was a must. But there’s something about being so close to nature that just feels so fulfilling and brings me so much joy.
If you haven’t already, be sure to check out my Nursery Reveal post. That is the first room that we have fully decorated in the house and I am IN LOVE!! Although I won’t be sharing a full house tour, I plan on posting a few blogs of some of my favorite spaces in the house so stay tuned for those! I will be sharing details like stone and tile to furniture and lighting.
In the meantime, here is a little sneak peek of some fun spaces in the house….

This room is super special to me because it is my Vitality try-on room!!! All of my Vitality pieces will stay hung up here and I will be filming lots of content like collection try-on’s in this room!! Sharing about Vitality is one of my biggest passions in life, so it just felt right to have a room dedicated to doing just that. I also love how this room allows you to fully visualize our new Vitality Color System because everything is sorted with their color families, and makes the room extra aesthetic!! It’s going to be so amazing to continue filling everything in as more collections come out in the coming months/years, and seeing this vision really come to life!
This is another space that Steve and I are so pumped about, our new home gym!!! I have been working out since I was 12 years old, and having a full home gym has always been a dream of mine, so this space is extra exciting for me. Steve and I are so excited to show Dallas that staying active and eating healthy helps us become our best selves, so having a gym at-home helps us engrain this into his life even more! Plus I know a home gym will be a game changer now that we have a little one, to just bop in and out quickly. Everything is from Rep Fitness and we love how it turned out! We went with a matte black look, and I feel like the space just looks so sleek.
Here’s a few more details in our new home <3
It feels so incredible to finally be moved in, and bringing Dallas home to our new house was such a special moment I will never forget. Steve and I are both feeling so grateful and excited for this next chapter of out lives and I cannot wait to continue sharing bits and pieces of our special space with you all!
