Postpartum Essentials

Postpartum has been no joke. In case you missed it, I shared all the details on my postpartum experience and everything I didn’t expect so you can read more about my pp journey in that blog! Everyone’s experience is different, but for me this has been an unexpected recovery. I had put this postpartum caddy together before having Dallas based on all of the things I had read from other people’s experiences, and I 100% use all of the things in it. It has be a life saver!! I leave it in my bathroom, but can take it with me to other parts of the house if needed because it is all together in one spot! I hope this helps you in your postpartum journey!

P.S. You can also pin this essentials collage to save for later!!

  • This caddy has been a life saver! I filled it with the most helpful essentials below for postpartum care. It keeps all of my necessary care nearby and let me tell you, I need it all!

  • These pads are completely necessary. You will definitely be bleeding for a few days post birth.

  • These hot and cold packs are perfect for relief down there. You can use them cold for relief from birth and hemorrhoids or use them hot for relief from uterine cramping.

  • These salts have really helped me to relax and recover since having Dallas two weeks ago. I use them in my bath everyday. I highly recommend!

  • This peri bottle helps clean and recover everything down there after having a baby. Not gonna lie, it’s kind of rough! But this helps so much to make peeing a bit less painful.

  • The best pain reliever after having a baby IMO has been Advil. I got a large bottle to get me through recovery and reduce some of the inflammation from childbirth.

  • For burning skin I have been using these pads to help soothe. They have really worked!

  • It is so crazy that I am wearing a diaper around but here we are, lol! These discreet boutique ones have been so great and convenient!

  • This spray helps offer relief from that burning feeling.

  • These ultra thin pads have been great for once that bleeding becomes less intense and. They aren’t too bulky but are really absorbent!

All of these products have been so so helpful to have stocked postpartum and I highly recommend putting together a caddy of your own before baby comes! Your future self will thank you!!!

XOXO, TAY
